Glory to God, amen.
Oh! You there! I see you! There you are, holding all the many promises that our Heavenly Father has assured you, looking above and waiting to see the fruits of those promises which are yet to be ripened. Yes indeed it was a hard journey of faith, where nobody around you was able to understand you, even your kith and kin. Every step you took forward was filled with tears and sobbing weak heart and deep breaths with heart felt pain. It was true that, to the world and people around, you had a simple sweet smile which hid all the narrowed path of your life from them. And you had a lifted head which was waiting to see the resurrected Christ Jesus in your life. Even then, when you stepped into the presence of the Lord, your feeble knees fell on the ground and His abundant love pulled your face down on to the ground, before the Cross and you cried, “Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You [Psalms 73:25]”, “But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in You [Psalms 39:7]”, “From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother’s womb you have been my God [Psalms 22:10]”. And all that you said to yourself was this, “Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God [Psalms 42:5 & 11].”
